Here’s something fun for today. Look back at all of your blog entries throughout 2008 and post the first sentence of your first entry for each month. (Am I explaining that clearly? I hope so!) Here are mine …
January: “Ahh. It feels so wonderful to be back home again!” We had just returned from Christmas in Indiana, and we had a fantastic time ~ with the exception of my grandpa feeling miserable. It was his last Christmas.
February: “Are you tired of reading about our various aches and pains?” February 2008 was an awful month. I had a horrible bout with anxiety, hypochondria, and depression ~ and my grandfather passed away on February 22. I started taking a new anxiety medicine, though, and it has helped me immensely.
March: “Since you liked the last trivia question, here’s another one!” I remember posting trivia questions from my new 365-day trivia desk calendar. :)
April: “In case you’re interested, I just listed some ‘Blue’s Clues’ birthday party supplies on eBay.” We did a Blue’s Clues birthday party for Lucas, and I wasn’t shameless at all about posting an advertisement! :)
May: “Eighteen months ago today, we were in the hospital holding our beautiful, brand-new baby girl ~ and now, this morning, I’m watching her ride a tricycle in circles around our bonus room.” Aww, this entry made me teary! How time flies.
June: “What is so rare as a day in June?” I posted one of my very favorite poems, written by James Russell Lowell.
July: “This morning before getting out of bed, I whispered, ‘Rabbit! Rabbit!’ just like I do at the start of every month.” In case you don’t know, that’s supposed to bring good luck for the month. I learned that from fellow blogger D. :)
August: “And the winner is … Ness over at Drovers Run!” I had just started an Etsy shop, and I gave away a package of note cards.
September: “I wasn’t very excited about attending this year’s county fair.” Oh, but we had a fantastic time! It really was fun! The kids had a blast, too!
October: “How many times have you Googled someone’s name in an attempt to reconnect with a long-lost friend?” Clearly a paid blogging entry, LOL! :)
November: “Good morning, everyone!” I must have been feeling exceptionally cheery that day!
December: “I never thought that I suffered from Seasonal Affective Disorder, but today is sure making me wonder.” Yeah, I hate winter. LOL! :)

that’s a fun idea! i just did my end of the year post, but maybe i’ll do another!
Thanks for joining in! I thought this was fun to do :-)
Very interesting idea. I think I’ll do this too!

I think you are thinking like sukrat, but I think you should cover the other side of the topic in the post too…
